How to set prefill data into the survey?
GoSurvey can prefill a question with the last saved answer, so the same answer is ready for the next responses. Use this when an answer stays the same across responses. For example, an Election Survey taken at one polling booth can prefill Polling Booth. If one respondent answers 101, the next time the survey is opened, Polling Booth is already filled with the answer 101. The respondent can change it before submitting.
On the question, select Prefill With Last Saved Answer.
It is applicable for these question types - Singleline, Multiline, Number Input, Decimal Input, Email, Phone Number, Radio Button, Drop Down, Checkbox List, Date, Time, Date and Time, Cascade.
Step 1: In the admin account, open the Surveys section. They select the survey that has question(s) whose answers will remain the same for all the responses.
Step 2: Here, the survey has a Number Input question, Polling Booth No. Expand that question.
Step 3: Select Prefill With Last Saved Answer.
Step 4: Click Save and publish the changes made.
Step 5: Open the survey. Answer the questions, enter a value (e.g. 101) for Polling Booth, and submit.
Step 6: The next time that survey is opened, Polling Booth is already filled with Last Saved Answer (e.g. 101). The respondent can change it before submitting.
