Cascade Options With Geo Fence
This question type is used when the respondent picks from linked lists, such as State, City, and Area, and the app checks that they are at that place.
The source data has State, City, Area, Latitude, Longitude, and Radius. The radius is in kilometres. After the last choice, the app takes the phone’s current location and compares it with the latitude, longitude, and radius of the selected row.
For Example: The respondent selects Maharastra, then Bombay, then Andheri. The app uses latitude 23.0258, longitude 72.5601, and a radius of 3 km. If the phone is within 3 km of that point, the respondent can continue. If it is farther away, the app shows that the current location is outside the survey area. The respondent can tap Directions to open the map for that place.
